By accessing desktop-laurelpath.click or engaging Laurel Path Business Consulting Pty Ltd (“Laurel Path”, “we”, “us”) for consulting services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this website or our services.

Specific consulting work is governed by a separate written agreement or quote accepted by both parties. That document will define scope, deliverables, fees, and timelines. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed engagement letter, the engagement letter prevails.

5. Intellectual property

Website text, design, logos, and downloadable materials we provide remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated in your engagement letter. You receive a licence to use deliverables (reports, templates, spreadsheets) for your internal business operations.

You retain ownership of your business data, job records, and materials you share with us during an engagement.

6. Confidentiality

We treat information about your operations, staff, and clients as confidential. We do not sell client data. Limited disclosure may occur to subcontractors bound by confidentiality, or where required by Australian law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

• Our consulting is advisory. Implementation decisions remain yours.
• We are not liable for lost revenue, missed jobs, or indirect damages arising from use of our recommendations.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Laurel Path against claims arising from your misuse of our deliverables or your breach of these Terms, except where caused by our negligence or misconduct.

9. Third-party links and images

This site may link to external resources or display images from third-party hosts. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in South Australia.

11. Changes
